urgent help required plz

hi, as my system spec's are not too good plz guid me at wat highest level I can play F.E.A.R, doom 3 etc. here are my spec's:-
msi 915g combo Intel chipset motherboard,
asus 7800gt graphic card,
1 gb corsair value select ram,
Creative x-fi extreme music sound card,
2.8 ghz (ht) intel cpu,
120 gb hard drive.
i can't play games as in evry game fps are too low
even with latest drivers
wat kind of upgradation u people suggest for my pc.

well i have a few, first! defrag your HDD if you havnt in a while also you can try and run an antivirus scan cus sometimes it is exactly that or if worst come to worst reinstall windows

Your system is pretty good; try reinstalling Windows, as the other guy said. If it's a Dell, HP, or other OEM brand, there's probably a lot of bloatware clogging up your HDD and RAM, all of which will go away if you format the HDD and reinstall WIndows.
