PSU problem? I don't know

The problem I have is when I'm gaming my mouse turns off and then back on again. I don't think the mouse is broken because I tested it in my other computer and it works fine. The reason I think its the PSU is because when I tried to reinstall windows using the CD at start up it didn't recognize it. My PSU Is a Antec Truepower Sonata 380W and its more then a year old, so maybe its dying.. I have no clue please if anyone can help.

Is the mouse powered up by USB?
I dont think its a PSU problem, I think in BIOS you chose how you detect your mouse.

Hmmm thats interesting then I think its the spyware I have on my computer because now I remember I can't even get into my bios to set anything. Well I guess I need to buy a new harddrive... :?
