Unstalled SP2 problems

Instaled XP SP2, when asked to reboot machine would not boot into XP, went to
safe mode and unistalled SP2, However, now are unable to access the
network/internet. All or apps and functions appear to be working okay.

Any suggestions
ps systems has a AMD 64bit pro. althrough running 32bit XP.

What network?
How do you connect to the internet and to what ISP?

Any error messages?
Any notices?

Check to see if you have to reinstall the drivers for your NIC or modem.

Probably a stupid question, but are you running Safe Mode with Networking or
just Safe Mode?
