The card works great, but it makes noise when I run 3d apps (say either the Catalyst 3d tool or WoW). I read that it could be inadequate power supply but I have an ASPIRE ATX-AS520W BLACK ATX 520W Power Supply (+12V@35A) so I don't think that is the problem. The temp doesn't go up very high either so I don't think it is the fan running super fast (also, this kind of up tempo whirring/clicking noise starts immediately w/o enough time for the temp to go up anyway). My system is:

Pentium 4 3.0
Asus P4P800-E Deluxe
2GB Corsair PC3200]
ASPIRE ATX-AS520W BLACK ATX 520W

Any help would be appreciated.

My other fans are so loud, I cannot even hear the fan on my GTO even when it is at 100%. And I pump it up to 100 every time I overclock the card and play games. Increasing your volume or buying a Zalman to replace the stock fan is not the advice you are looking for, I suspect.

I've since discovered that it actually my PSU that is making the noise whenever the card taxes it for power. I pretty much either have to deal with the noise or get a new PSU at this point.

Thanks,
