Kingston HyperX PC3200 timings ?

OK i have my CPU OC 2.53ghz to 3.0ghz. I have Kingston PC2700 Value ram timings 2.5 3 3 7 and ratio 1:1

Now i've just been given some Kingston Hyper X KHX3200A/512 DDR, PC 3200's which have timings of 2 3 2 6.

What timings should i be looking at , to get best performance ?

Keep the 1:1 ratio with your OC & set your timings to the rated PC3200 2 3 2 6.

Just being curious, i've set the settings too 2 3 2 6. But would it better putting all the memory in and have them set at 2.5 3 3 7.

Then i'll have 2gb, 2 x Kingston Value PC2700, 2 x HyperX PC3200.

Only a couple of games like BF2 use more than 1 gig.

The other thing is the command rate of your memory would most likely switch to the slower 2T settings.

You can give it a try, and then run some benchmarks and see how much difference there is. It's good experience.
I did this for my X850XTPE computer, it ran better & faster with 1x512mb stick at 1T than 2x512mb at 2T. I'm looking to get a 1gig stick for it now.
BTW it's a SIS chipset.
