Problem with XFX 7900GTX 512mb and games.

I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions, I have a XFX 7900 GTX 512mb, and when I play games such as BF2 or CoV, after a few minutes CoV and BF2 either crashes to desktop or shuts my PC off completly.

I'm pretty sure it's not a heat problem, my GPU only gets to ~45c and my CPU ~52c under full load. And my case has plety of airflow.

My setup:
Antec 550w truepower 2.0
Asus An8-SLI Premium
2GB Corsair VS
XFX 7900 GTX 512mb
250gb Seagate
