Is there a way to find the Activation Key off the file or disk on a download student version where a full install erased the Email before the Key was written down.

If the email was archived, and the archive was not backed up, a clean install could easily wipe it out, since the key would be needed after the drive partitioning part of the setup process.

Since I'n not aware of any system in place to retrieve keys, you're probably going to have to call Microsoft about it. I'm sure if you give them the purchase details that they could retrieve your key for you.

Sorry but I dont see how a full install erased a key, most email is stored on a email server, so it would be untouched.

There is no activation key on the dowload or disk. Contact the support site where you purchased the download and ask them to resend the key, they should have a record of your purchase.
