ATI is selling the ATI RADEON X1800 XT CrossFire Edition PCIE 512MB on there web site for $349.00 with a $50.00 rebate as a refurbished unit. I received one today in the original retail box with no markings that identified it as a refurbished unit. I have bought refurbished units in the past from ATI and they have always been marked as refurbished, makes you wonder if it is really a refurbished unit.

I have a question I hope some one can answer. Since the price is cheap, I thought about buying another one. What I am trying to find out is if two ATI RADEON X1800 XT CrossFire Edition PCIE 512MB will work in a crossfire configuration where one of them will operate as a slave? Cannot find any information out there that clearly answers the question. Does any body know if it is possible?

You can get a X1800XT for little less on newegg. You only need one Master, so order a normal version.

Thanks, your right I can get x1800xt 512mb for $10.00 less plus the difference in shipping saves me about $27.00. But does any one know if two master cards can be used together? I have yet to find anywhere that someone has performed any tests with two master cards.
