hi, i have this Harddrive

Toshiba MK4026GAX

i have found 2 enclosures that i like.

will that harddrive fit in either one of those? if so which would u recommend and if it wont which enclosure would u recommend

Sure it will, the GAX series are regular height 2.5" drives. I have an 8026GAX (unreliable piece of shit) inside the cheapest most generic Firewire enclosure I could find.

It's not like chipset quality is an issue here, since laptop drives are tardy at best. If the vertical stand thing turns you on, go for that, otherwise, get the other one. An enclosure is a means to an end, nothing more.

Any old 2.5" IDE enclosure, yes. Don't try putting it in a 3.5" or 5.25", the connectors are mechanically different.
