DVI vs. VGA?

I recently purchased a 7900GT. It has DVI-out as well as VGA-out. My monitor has VGA-in and DVI-in. Which one should I use?

Use DVI if you have the cable.

Use the DVI connection.
If you used VGA, your components would have to convert the digital signal and back again.
