I would opt for the 6600. The 9600 Pro, is clocked slower than a 9600XT, so

they aren't that powerful. GL

The 9600 is significantly older than the 6600. It's also slower.
The psu can probably handle your system.
As for the the game, it will run - the question is rather how well it will run
