Asus A8N-E and HT speeds 1600MT/s or 2000MT/s?

Hi,

I am confused. I have a X2 4400+ with DDR400 ram. I am 100% sure the CPU is running 200MHz x 11 = 2.2GHz and the ram is 200 MHz so all is good.

Except, I am not sure what speed the HT is set at? I am assuming it is 200Mhz but not sure. The specs on the mobo say 1600MT/s or 2000Mt/s. Also how does MT/s equate to MB or GB/s?

What is the benefit to set 5X vs. Auto? Does the Mobo adjust to slower speeds some times?
