Fs passenger

A couple of days ago, I had my very first failure which wasn't my
fault.....a bird strike on take-off. It stalled my starboard engine and I
couldn't re-light it. I declared an emergency and requested vectors back to
the airport. I managed to land the 737 safely and got an applause from the
passengers. I didn't even need the fire engines although they made a
helluva racket.

I have had some failures which I caused because I was stupid. I've left the
landing gear down too long and wrecked it, resulting in a belly landing and
I've left the flaps down too long, ruining them resulting in a 'no flaps'
landing. (The noise from thsese idiot incidents scared the hell outta me).
Both landings were successful but I had to take a shower after I finished.
Oh, I failed to mention the time I landed my MD-11 on the grass beside the
runway, and was fined a hefty amount of cash.

I REALLY wish the author of FSPassengers could integrate his program into
the FS9 ATC. That would be the best improvement he could make right now,
since calling a mayday means nothing to the controllers. You could have one
engine out, no flaps, no gear and ATC could vector you into several go
arounds because of other traffic : (

FSPassengers is an exciting, versatile, and ingenious program which is
continually evolving into a better one. Although it still has a few bugs,
they are not serious enough to affect the program's performance. It is the
perfect add-on for those of us stuck on flying the jets because it adds
another dimension, that being the simulation of carrying a live cargo and
delivering them to their destination safely and happily. I might add that
because of the critique the pilot (me) gets at the end of each flight, my
piloting skills have improved a great deal (had nowhere else to go anyway).

I'm not sure how this program works with smaller aircraft, but I think it
would be nice with any plane which can carry more than a few passengers.

Still trying to figure out what that 'some drink' is. The hostess really
wants me to drink it but I keep dumping it in the toilet. Maybe one
day......

BTW, this review was totally unsolicited.....and could change at any time.
I'm very moody.

Arthur

Your review was spot on Arthur, my flying in FS2004 has improved no end
thanks to FS Passengers.

Cheers.

What is FS Passenger? Is it a downloadable add on? or is it a retail pack
you buy?

Using FS passengers I now found out that going down the middle of the last
taxiway at Heathrow on the way to runway 9R with an airbus A380 causes a
building crash. The wings are so large that you have to stay on the extreme
right of the taxiway to avoid hitting a building on the left. So real pilots
"beware".

heathrow in the game isnt made for a380s ;)

but saying that i dont think even a 747 fits down the taxi way i think your
talking about. It seems like that building is in the wrong place too...

You can't argue with ATC, if they tell you to go there then its their fault
if your wings take out a Terminal.
