I've got a USB->Serial Adpater from Aten (UC 232) and I would like to use it
with my Asus A730 with usb host to connect a serial GPS. Does anyone know if
a driver exist ?

Thanks
Greg

Look at Section II on this page.
http://www.mdgps.org/modules.php?name=pocketcaching
It lists a generic serial-USB driver and how to modify it for your
convertor. The problem I had was the driver link was dead. I cut and pasted
the driver name (ce_pl2303_071102.zip) into Google and downloaded it from
another site.

I think I have an the same Aten adapter and the numbers were 1367_8200 but
yours may be different.

Great Greg!
Which comm port did it come up on? I was wondering if this was a function of
the convertor or the ppc. On my E800, it was Comm 4.
