assembling gaming rig

Hi guys I am looking for a motherboard that will support 4 gigs of memory and support eight hard drives. I am planning on assembling piece by piece components for a GAMING RIG that runs with the AMD 64 FX-57..
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good motherboard? Price I can afford will be somewhere between midrange to high. Thanks in advance.
