Tiger Direct is hell! AVOID AVOID AVOID. I will post again a little later commenting on your components.

Use Memoryexpress.com or NCIX.com.

yes... avoid tigerdirect..... NCIX will price match tiger direct's advertised prices.

And here is what would change (provided you can afford it)

Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 250GB SATA2

CPU: AMD Athlon X2 3800+

RAM: OCZ Premier 1GB (2 x 512MB) DDR-400

NewEgg is a far better shop than Tiger inDirect.

It most certainly is...unless you happen to live in a country where NewEgg doesn't ship (ie NOT the US), in which case you're screwed then.

Thanks for the links though, now I finally have options for my future PC build, heh.

Really?

Tiger Direct wants $280 for your CPU, its $233 at NCIX.
EDIT: Link for the CPU @ NCIX with free shipping
AMD Athlon64 3500+

I don't like gigabyte motherboards at all, but if you go with it, its cheaper at NCIX ($96 vs $111). If were you I would go with the Asus A8N-E from NCIX for $111.
Asus A8N-E

For best dual channel operation, always buy memory in matched pairs. Again, NCIX is cheaper with Corsair RAM.
Corsair ValueSelect 1GB DDR-400

Tiger is cheaper on the case, but as other poster said, NCIX will price match it.

NCIX is cheaper yet again for an Antec (one of the best out there) PSU:
Antec Smartpower 500W

On the video card, NCIX has a better card for about the same money, (never count of Tiger for rebates)
XFX 7600GT XXX

I have no idea where you got the idea that Tiger was cheaper, but some simple research obviously proved otherwise.
