Hi,

I just ordered the Seasonics S12 ATX2.0 500W PSU to use on an Asus P5N32-SLi board with a Pentium D940.

I read on intel's website that pentium D's require ATX2.2 PSUs.

Any reasons why I should get an ATX2.2 PSU?

Many thanks

Hi,

Thanks for answering.

In the motherboard's manual it only mentions an ATX2.0 compliant PSU.

Is there any reason why an ATX2.2 PSU would be better than an ATX2.0 ?

Thanks

not that i can find, but note that there is almost no difference in preformance, you momo will still run on an ATX v2.0, as long as u have enough power supplied and all the right connectors.
