I am putting together a new file server for home and have run into a snag and am hoping someone might have a suggestion of something I could try to fix the problem.
Okay so I installed Windows Server 2003 64Bit and the installation went by without a problem. When trying to boot, once it gets to the first screen that says it's booting to Server 2003 the display goes blank and nothing happens, it just sits there. I can boot into safe mode and get into Windows. So then I tried booting with only one DIMM and this worked, it booted into Windows (non-safe mode) without any issues...
I have updated the BIOS to the latest version. I have also set basically everything in the BIOS to defaults, disabling almost everything that's not necessary just to see if that would work.
If anyone has an idea...I'm thinking that there has to be a BIOS setting that I'm getting wrong or something like that so if anyone has an idea I would appreciate it.
