I don't know if anyone's been keeping an eye on this game (I certainly have) but here's a recent interview.

It sure sounds like they're actually nearing completion. =)

Another thing I've heard is that we'll see a large scale ad campaign apx. 6 months prior to release.

Oops, sorry about that.

Yeah, it looks like STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl may be out before next summer. The naysayers will definitely still think it's another Duke Nukem Forever though.
