I need an internal tv tunnner card to store games from mondial soccer championship. I need a reccomendation for a tunner cappable to do hardware commpression and also to be less than 70$.
My goal is to create a file with 700 MB length for a soccer game with good quality!
WinTV PVR cards are good....ATI is supposed to be hardware based now days (can not be sure)
You may not need hardware if u have a fast computer or dual core. and that opens up allot of cheap cards
as for 700mb's u may want to go DivX/XviD to compress.
most hardware cards do mpeg2 (not gonna make your 700mbs happen)
Plextor has there own USB(i know u want internal and they cost more but it may be a good long term investment) recording device with DivX(in hardware). I hear it is quite good.
Get any of the cheaper Theater 550 cards from Sapphire or Powercolor, they're physically the same card as the TV-Wonder Elite, but come with cheaper remotes, etc.
They also work with recent versions of ATI Multimedia Center, which is a better program than the Cyberlink stuff that normally comes with the card.
