Wondering what everyone thinks about the Enermax Liberty ELT500AWT 500W psu. It will be for a system i plan to build end of july with the 2.66 conroe, a x1900xt HIS video card, 2 SATA drives (one raptor and one regular 7200 WD) and then all the other regular stuff like dvd RW, sound card, 2X1GB DDR2, and a few fans.

Basicaly wondering the best powersupply for this system with the following "hopes"
-good quality
-powerfull enough for the next gen video cards (most likely will never do SLI)
-neat cable setup for clean inside of the case (the one thing i heard the enermax isnt the best at, but also isnt too bad)
-quiet
-around the 100 dollar price range (max 120ish??)

Thanks in advance for any help

The Enermax you picked is a keeper.

I typically recommend the SeaSonic S12-500 500W Power Supply because it is quiet, efficient (85%) and reliable. It's an excellent PSU, but it does cost $140 shipped.

For a cheaper, but still good PSU you can go for the Antec NeoHE 500 500W Power Supply that costs $110 shipped.

I think the Enermax is a good power supply. Its supposed to have modular cables, so that should make for a clean installation. The 500 wt should be fine as long as you're not going SLI. Antec, Seasonic, Aspire are also good power supplies with prices close to what you have to spend. I don't think you'll go wrong with the Enermax though.

I'm really happy with my Enermax 485W PSU. My voltages are always within 5% of stated values and I don't get the slight flucuations I was getting with my Antec 380W PSU. The Enermax runs much cooler than my Antec during hours of gaming. I've used Enermax in the past and they always seem to be quality.

I have the 620watt liberty and I love mine....also have on older 365watt enermax in my last computer its always been rock solid and so far the liberty is too. I love the modular cables cause you don't have to run any more cable then needed.
