Hi, i was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what could be causing my new graphics card to crash? It's an ATI All-In-Wonder X1800XL. Game used for crash screenshot is BF2

i initally thought it might be my power supply as ATI recommend 450w whereas mine was only 300w. however i have now fitted a 500w antec smartpower psu and the problem still exists :(

What kinda airflow do you have in your computer, What temp is the GPU at, and this looks like premature signs of the GPU over heating,

Total system specs please. A number of things can cause this, bad graphics card, bad ram, bad motherboard, as well as bad PSU or not enough power. Overheat is also supect, so what are the tempts of the CPU, etc..

Try underclocking the core & memory with ATiTool & see if that makes any difference.
And check the temps.
Otherwise, IMO your new card has a problem, possibly the graphics memory chips.
