I didn't receive an SLI bridge for my Ultra-D. To run dual 7800GT's do i need this bridge?

I've placed the jumpers for the ultra-D board in the SLI mode (8x). I have the newest drivers from Nvidia and when i look in my settings it still does not say anything about SLI. In fact, it says I have a BFG 7800GT installed and running at 8x.

I have changed my Bios to have SLI enabled.

Am i missing something? Or can I run the 7800's without the bridge at all in SLI mode.

Please, any feedback would be appreciated.

See, I don't know what the mod is. I was looking online and haven;t found anything. If SLI should work without the bridge, then so be it, however, i cant even get the SLI to work.

Have a link to the mod or can you let me know here please?

The Ultra-D is Dual Express Graphics capable, not SLI or Crossfire. You can mod the board to SLI by bridging 2 points on the chipset but unless you have done this, you cannot run your cards in SLI. DFI-Street has a great tutorial on how to mod the board to SLI and SATAII so i would head over there to check it out.
