Hi
I have a P3 1.13Ghz on Asus CUCL2 ATI Radeon 9000, Creative Audigy, DVD Wrier, 80GB HD & a250GB SATA on PCI card.

During rainy season, My CPU suddenly shuts down or just refuses to start. The Greem LED on CPU keeps blinking but I am not able to switch on the Power.

Even if the CPU is on, it can suddenly go to off mode.
I tried a new SMPS but with same result. I am using a 400W SMPS.

Pls give a clue to what is wrong here

funny how it is only the rainy season - I would check:

the outlet voltage (maybe try different outlet and / or power cable, or back-ups?)
overhumidity in the room / case

hmm this is a thought i know in some places the powergrids arent that good and if it overloads then somethings dont work.

that may be why. since its raining out everyone is inside hooked to electronics.....just a thought , i know it happens in some places. i've been overseas
