I was just wondering what cars people would get under $15,000 and used cars are ok. I'm looking for speed, reliabilty, fun, and looks.

Pintos are cool. Chrome 'em up, dump 'em, tint the windows, low profile 12" tires, hang fuzzy dice, add hydraulics, a glow kit, chop the top, and paint it canary yellow with a gold racing stripe.

You'll be the pimp!

Let me be a little more specific...These are my narrowed down choises, and the cheaper the better for me.

I've also desided that my limit would be $10,000

'95 eclipse all the way! Hmm, 10 grand eh? U could buy urself a crazy Sun system/ multiprocessor AMD sys for that much...... Hehe, I'm the type of guy who'd rather buy a computer than a car.

Sig of the week.

Reply to Flamethrower205

My Computer is perfect for what I do with it. Unfortionatly my Mazda MX-3 is a little banged up and needs replacing.

Of all the cars I'm most leaning twards the two Mazdas because of price issues. I CAN go to 10g's but I'd rather stay under 6.

Also, if someone were to know of somehting cool around that price range I didn't think of please tell.

hi flamethrower205,

i'm sorry to say, but no one should buy a mitsubishi eclipse from 90-96. i have much experience with them. if you don't believe me ask ant thing you want. i've fixed many many of them, such as timing belt, balance belt, transmitions.... and more.

they perform very well, but break down very much too.

92 mitsubishi 3000gt looks very nice, but its not a good choice. the car is very heavy and the sl or other low models that don't come with twin tubo AWD are sluggish.

93 MR2 is a very good choice. fast, good handling, and they last, but are too small.

forget mazda. if you are really going to buy a car, see if you can buy a BMW M3. it looks good, its fast, its roomy, and its a BMW . if you have any questions about it or any other car feel free to ask us.

the very best of luck to you : )

Are there any good BMW's for the $6000 price and under?

-Kanaz

Reply to Kanaz

for that kinde of price range its better to go with japanies, i mean you get more with japanies.

for $6,000 you can buy a ver nice car, but i need to know what kinde of driver you are. do you want a true sports car? or do you want a front wheel drive? do you want to feel the push when you gas it? or you don't care. what about room? is a small car ok?

if you tell me what you like to have and what you don't want i'll give you a list of very beautiful cars that you'll like very much : )

and why not a 98' subaru impreza turbo? that car would kick a$$ 92' toyota and 94' mazda.

Reply to CMRvet

um... hello, if you buy that car for $6000 i'll give you $10,000. so buy as many as you can, i'll buy all of them from you and sell them for much much more. deal?

You don´t need to be that ironic, I was replying to the post with the poll which says $10.000, and being more specific, the “basic version” with 210 BHP, not the P1 or the B-22:)

Reply to CMRvet

sorry, lol you still can't get it for $10,000.

Supra
Skyline
NSX

Okay, the Skyline and NSX maybe well out of your price range...but if you look hard enough...you could get a 90's non-turbo Supra for less than 10 g.

I don't care too much about the size, but my girlfriend likes a roomy car.

I would like to have quick acceleration over top-end speed.

Cobra kits are like $10,000 , depending on where you can find them. Mine was around that much.

Chrysler Neons
Chevy Cavaliers
Pontiac Sunfires

All brand new with standard transmissions and no A/C are all under 15k Canadian.

Not to mention Ford, Honda, Hyundia, Kia etc. all have cheap cars.

I'm more looking for a nice older car than a new cheap car.

Oh, and I want nothing before '92

ok dude, here are the choices:

92-95 toyota supra. 92-94 you can probably get turbo in your price range.

92-96 nissan 300zx. i would get the 92-93 twin turbo.

DO NOT buy a mazda RX7 unless you buy 96 and later.

the other chioces are cars such as nissan 240sx, toyota MR2, and much more, but i would get the twin turbo 300ZX.

one more thing is i didn't list any front wheel drives.

93 300ZX turbo: $8-9000. 92 300ZX $5-7000. you'll have to do lots of shoping and also make a good deal. my dad is a car dealer and he can get that car for about $4000.

does it need to be family orientated or just what YOU want. cos if ya get a kit car - my mate bought the caterham super 7 in kit and built the whole thing. At the end you'll know every bit of your enginge personally and the car will feel so much more "yours". Plus you can customise the the ground up. Don't like a bit - wizz it and get a different bit. For $10000 you could have a wicked car!!!!
