That's a pretty vague question...really didn't supply any info to give a real answer...assuming a number of things, the short answer is "yes"...

Yes it will work, but don't even consider buying a 6800 now, and if you did, the 6800XT is the worst of the 6800 bunch.

Why is the 6800xt so bad? And why shouldnt i buy a 6800, the most graphicly intensive game i plan to play is half life 2 and i HATE the built in video on my intel motherboard-it really, really sucks-it chugs on fable:tlc

There are much better cards for only a little more cash. Try the 7600GT or X1800GTO instead.

K, But which of the two is better?, and if I was to get a 7600GT, what company should I buy it from (XfX, Evga, Bfg ect...)

I've had good experiences with both BFG and EVGA...I would recommend either of them...pick which company tickles your fancy.

Wait a min!!!!

I have a 7900GT by gigabyte.... I want to SLI can I do it with say a 7900GT by asus and a 7900GT gigabyte??

If say I get a 7900 GT factory OCed by XFX does that mean I must also OC my Gigabyte 7900GT to the same speed inorder to go SLI?

If I have 2 x 7900GTs by gigabyte in SLI and I want to OC them... Must I now OC them both to the same speed?

What will happen if one is OCed and one is stock?

How the hell can a 7600GT be a better card than a 7900GT??? And why would anybody pay a little MORE for a piss week card?

You would be better off with a single 7600GT or 7900GT.

You can probably pickup a 7900GT for $239 after rebate:
