450W PSU enough for my new build?

I'm in the process of buying components for my first build, and I'm curious if the Antec SmartPower 450W PSU will provide enough power, current, etc. for my system.

Here is what I've chosen so far:

EPoX EP-9NPA+Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 2000MHz Dual Core Processor

connect3D 3041 Radeon X1800GTO 256MB PCIex16 Video Card OR a 7600GT

Antec LifeStyle SONATA II Case with Antec SmartPower 450W PSU

OCZ EL Platinum Revision 2 1GB (2 x 512MB) DDR 400 Dual Channel Memory

Seagate 160GB SATA-300 Hard Drive

LiteOn DVD/CD Burner

KWORLD Video Magician Video Editing Kit

I think that's everything. If the Antec 450W PSU is sufficient, that will save me at least $100. If it's not sufficient, I'll probably go with the Lian Li PC-60BPLUSII Case and Coolermaster RS-550-ACLY Real Power 550W PSU, unless you have a better suggestion for a PSU.

Thanks for the help! :D

you are good to go
eXtreme PSU calc[/url]"]System Type: Single Processor

CPU Utilization (TDP): 100% TDP

RAM: 2 Sticks DDR SDRAM
Video Card: ATI Radeon X1800 XT (700/1600)
Video Type: Single Card

SATA HDD: 1 HDD

DVD-RW/DVD+RW Drive: 1 Drive

Sound Blaster - All Models: Yes
Additional PCI Card (avg): 1 Card

Fans
Regular: 1 Fan 80mm; 1 Fan 120mm;

Motherboard, keyboard and mouse: Yes

PSU Utilization: 100% (peak utilization)

Total: 314 Watts

But don't know about the "kworld" brand of capture device...

I would go with a Hauppauge brand WinTV-PVR-150 MCE for $70 shipped (it works with more than MCE like GBPVR). And it is cheaper if you can live w/o the front panel connectors. If you need the a remote there are other models that have that for ~$95 shipped. Quality stuff...

Thanks for the replies. :D

Just to make sure, the Antec can handle my amperage requirements, too?

Thanks for the suggestion on the video capture card, doolittle. After doing a bit more research, I'll almost definitely be going with a Hauppauge card. KWorld doesn't seem to make a very good product after reading reviews on several of their products. How is the picture quality on a Hauppauge? I've never had experience with video capturing, so I don't know what to expect.

Splendid
The smart power should work just fine but the TruePower and NeoPower series are better :-D

I agree the Hauppauge cards are way better but more expensive.

Either the X1800GTO or 7600GT will be fine but the 7900GT/GTX or X1900XT/XTX will be way better if you can afford them.'

Good Luck :-D

i agree but 20 more bucks would unlock those pipes and factory overrclock (X1800XT)

he is grabbing an X1800GTO for 230 doillars an X1800XT is $250.

my 2 cents i think its owrth 20 bucks

You can grab several 7900GTs for $239 or so after rebate @newegg :-D

May be worth looking into :-D

my system is more power hungry than what you list and it works fine. The only time you really need more than 400 watts (from a good name psu) is w/ an sli/xfire system. I run two optical drives and many different peripherals w/ no issues.
