New oc comp to be bought.need suggestion

Well i am going to build a new system only to oc it.so basicly i am going to get like a good oc cpu at low speed (so its cheaper) and a good oc mobo. I need your suggestions.

I only need cpu and mobo(pci-e).i will keep same vidcard,psu,and ram.

I was thinking about a opteron or pentium D. and a dfi mobo.

budget: cheaper the better max 350$ cnd

Any suggestions?

350$ canadian for both cpu and mobo that can oc...

lemme think... tat takes away the chances of a opty ocing thing...


u got only one choice... pentium D 805, thats like 150 canadian right now... so now you gotta find a 100$ mobo tats good for OC, thats pretty much impossible...

if you plan to spend only 350$ CND on a oc system, forget bout it, forget bout getting anywhere... cause you wont be.


dish out like a 100 more, then start talking.


i guess you can go: amd 3000, and mobo that, oc it, but it wont be much of an oc system

well i checked and can get an opty 144 for 214 $cnd. Now i need a good mobo that wont limit me in my ocing. I dont need any sli mobo.
