budget upgrade

i have 400$ to spend on an upgrade

really the only thing i have worth keeping is my vid card and psu

i have a 6600GT AGP

so need a agp mobo/ram/cpu, was thinking something along these lines:

asus a8v

I have that board, and it works fine. However consider this board instead:
AsROCK 939Dual

This board will let you use your AGP card now, and add a PCI-E one later. Got a system with that board too and a 6800GT. Works like a charm.

yeah i thought about that but mobos arnt that expensive and i figure by the time i upgrade my vid card i'd just upgrade the mobo at the same time.

i never heard of that brand so i'd rather have one i can trust.
