Newegg's servers are current experiencing problems...

In the meantime, what CPU are you going to use. There is a huge difference in power consumption between Athlon 64 and Pentium 4s.

80GB HDD is kinda small.

How many case fans?

Using onboard sound or a sound card?

well i dont need any larger than 80gb and probably like 3 or 4 fans at max and onboard sound

Generally speaking, it is a case & PSU combo is usually a bad choice unless it is coming from Antec. That because both the case and PSU are of poor quality. That can ultimately result in an early demise of your PC when the PSU decides to die.

You are making the same mistake many builders are doing, buying powerful components, but skimping on a PSU.

I would recommend the Antec SLK3800B w/ 400w PSU for $100. Yes, it is almost double the amount you want to spend and it doesn't come with a keyboard, mouse, or speakers, but it is a good solid case. Shipping is a killer though.

me and peng are talking on aim and he is helping look for a psu and case seperate instead of togerther because he said it is usually alot better

Newegg has the killer deal once again on the Centurion 5!

COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 CAC-T05-UW $50 shipped @ newegg ***w/ $10 MIR ***
SPARKLE ATX-400PN-B204 ATX 12V 2.0 400W $42 shipped @ ewiz

an excellent budget / performance combination

Antec Sonata II 450w $99 shipped @ securemart
The sonata is never a bad choice, comes w/ the smartpower 450w

Take a look at the fan grille on that case: Flat with no offset and small holes. These are the signs of a manufacturer who doesn't care at all about performance. They sell stuff like this to n00bs based on looks alone, it's cheaply made garbage.

CM makes pretty good cases
