why would you be worried about an SLI mobo, the non-sli mobo's is one reason Nvidia came up with the 7950 GX2. Also because later they will introduce the quad sli for enthusiest as well as mainstream...
Honestly you wouldnt need an SLI mobo for this, just a x16 PCI-X lane and you would be ok.
Their methods of benchmarking suck. They used "manual" gameplay and FRAPS to benchmark most of the games. As we all (should) know, that does not produce the most accurate results.
Still, the 7950 GX2 looks bad ass no matter how you slice it.
Can't wait fer Anandtech or THG to do a proper review.
yea i reread the article and just noticed the manual gameplay part, that sucks. and also ussra2 i think i read somewhere that you would have to have an SLI mobo to use one of them, though im not sure. I have a uli m1695 which would support SLI if I had a riser card, but they have bad driver support last time i checked you couldnt run any 7 series on it so its pointless.
