Hey everyone!

I was planning on buying a Zalman 7000B-Cu CPU Fan, running on an MSI 865PE Neo2-PS Motherboard and I was wondering if this fan would work with my motherboard? i'm also running a Socket 478 Intel P4 3.0E.

On the Zalman website, it says my motherboard isn't supported.. but why is that? I just wanna be sure.. is there any way the cooler could fit with my board??

If there's no way of fitting it.. does anyone know a cpu cooler that's close in performance and low noise level as this one? like the Thermaltake Big Typhoon (No motherboard compatibility list on TT's website... how can I make sure it would be compatible)

Thank you

If the 7000 wont fit the 7700 wont fit.... Try the zalman 9500. it has a smaller foot print so it wont get in the way of the NB fans.

However the 9500 is more than the 7000 buy at least 30 bucks or so

I didn't find my motherboard in the compatibility list on zalman's site .. I only found the 865PE Neo2-PFS (I have the PS version)

does this mean it won't work if I get a 9500 ?
