Not sure anybody knows, but I'll ask anyways.

Does anyone have an idea how much OC'able the Athlon 64 3000+ Orleans is?

I am running my Venice @ 2150MHz on stock cooler (FSB 239), that's 20%, rock stable.

That is pretty good. I think you could push that more. What memory are you using?

normal elixir 512MB (hoping to get another for dual channel operation at the end of the month)

I know I can push it (barely reaches 36°C, full load), but @ 2250 my system freezed; think the problem is the motherboard (an Asus A8V-MX) because before it happened, the onboard video was having problems. Now I throttled the FSB back to a comfortable 233 (2.1GHz) not to stress the board. I plan to get other extra speed from 64bit software however.

from what i know, 64bit os does nothing for speed, or anything else for that matter, aside from add the ability to utilize more system memory, AND THAT'S ALL FOLKS!
