Top-Down View Settings

Hi,

When flying long distances I like to switch to top-down view (CTRL+S) to see
where I am. This is great during the day but at night the area I am flying
over is too dark to recognize. Is there anything I can do to change this
(other than the obvious answer of flying during the day)? I know the Map
view is an option but that pauses the flight.

Thanks in advance,
Luke.

Why not download and instal FS Moving Map? Then you can either have a real
chart in your kneeboard (F10 key), or a full-screen chart view?

It is available for free at http://avsim.com The program and available
calibrated charts are separate downloads... (massive files!)

What about GPS? It's free and doesn't pause. You can resize the window
to almost full screen by clicking and dragging. Click on terrain for more
detail...
