Wow mwave.com already has the new XFX GEFORCE 7950 GX2 graphics card in stock and for $582.75!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What do you guys think about this?

I still wouldn't get it probably wouldn't even out perform an X1900 in crossfire mode anyways. Besides eventually AMD will come out with something even better and more powerful. AMD rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its not the same one as reviewed by THG, that one was the XXX version with higher clocks, and lastly of course the X1900XTX in Crossfire would do better than these, but they also would cost $200 more...lets compare apples to apples here fanboy

Well i have to admit when i firstt saw toms benchmarks i was thinking "what a pile" it can even beat a single 1900xtx, but I was thinking of getting one anyway.
Then i figured out the screen resolution and was like wow i can buy it for the performance and not feal so bad.
Know if i can just remember my ebay account i can get rid of my 7900gtx

The human eye can only see just so much.

You will never notice the extra 6 fps (or even 600 fps if you could get it!) with dual gfx cards no matter the brand.

For those with a money tree in the back yard and want to have the very best..go for it...but a 7900GT for well under $300 overloads all the eye can see even without OC it.

IE: I could set you down on my LAN and "tell you" the all systems had all the latest dual-this-and-that (cpu's/gpu's) and in fact,in your mind,you would "think" it was better than it was.
Then again the systems on my LAN are not shabby...Optron 146's,DFI Expert's,G.Skill DDR500 ram,XFX 7900GT....all OC'ed.

Wow, I paid $100 less than that for my whole AM2 mobo, cpu, and DDR2 system with a 7600GT. :lol:

AMD is going to come out with something to best the X1900 in Crossfire ? AMD is making graphics chips now, the hightech world changes by the moment, damn. :roll:
