Way to cool Laptop Vid Card

Hey i have a dell e1705 with a geforce go 7800 and wanted to know if there is a better way of cooling the video card than the stock fan/heatsink. Are there faster fans available, is their software that will let you control fan speed for the card and when it comes on?

I ask all this because my laptop gets very hot when gaming (the vid card part) and the fan is still silent/ only blows a little air out. And if i ever sit this thing on my lap it is very hot!

theres not an easy way to go inside and change the fan or anything, what you might consider

The answer is no. To the best of my knowledge, there are no after market HSF for laptops.

You will need to rely on an external laptop cooler that is placed underneath the laptop.
