:? As a general rule, would the GF 6600 (not GT) be faster than a GF4 TI4600 Ultra GC, in a AMD 3500+ PC,

I believe the 6600 would be faster than a Ti4600. Probably quite a bit faster...

alot faster, and if i'm not wrong, the FX series and later were based on DX9 and the Gforce 4 was dx8
