Ive searched the forum and I hope this is posted in the right section, sorry if it is not. I have a question and will probably get a lot of wise remarks about it but here it is: the new turion X2 mobile says that it has 2.0 GHz, is that per processer or the total?

Believe it or not, although his question may sound silly it is a very valid one. Many FSB's are measured at their "effective" rates and not their actual rates.

I can see someones marketing department advertising a "5 ghz (effective)" processor and actually be refering the to amount of clock cycles experienced by BOTH processors combined.
