Hello.
My friend has the following problem:
- he has a 630 (2 MB L2 cache)
- motherboard Asus P5P800 - chipset 865 (BIOS v. 1011)
Problem is he can only see 1MB L2 cache. (read by CPU-z and other programs).
On the Asus site, they say this motherboard supports processors with 1MB L2 cache, but 630 is in the CPU support list since BIOS v.1007.
Do you know if the extra 1MB L2 cache can be enabled. (there's no option in BIOS). Is this cache used and there's only a bad reading?
Thank you.
