I Just An Hour Ago Have Reached My Personal Best Overclock (See Specs Below) But I Have A Q?, Can I Go Further? If So How My Goal Is 2.7GHz

Note: HTT Is At 1040 (1100 Is The Max Supported Speed) RAM Is At 433MHz If I Go Higher I Might OverRun My RAMs Capabiliies

17.3" SGI 1600SW TFT-LCD (1600x1024 Res, .23mm Dot Pitch, 40ms)

That .23mm Dot pitch is your bottleneck .

You mention the freaking response time of your screen but you dont mention your cooling system? No q for u

Grats dude.

lower the divider on the ram and u should be fine. Also you should play around with the multiplier a bit. When i had my DFI i run my 3700+ at (10x275) = 2.75ghz and it was perfect.

Best,

That and the response time. 40 ms? DAAAMMMNN.

My "Pride And Joy" (The Latetst)
AMD A64 X2 3800+ @ 2.6GHz, 2.45v <-- Should Be 1.5v

Evga Nvidia 7800GT @ 500/1180
Casegear Pitbull 450Watt Modular PSU

The 40ms Responce Time Is Misleading It Acts Like A 20ms Panel, I Rarely See Any Smearing/Ghosting. Id Say About 5% Of The Time, And When It Does Is Nearly Unoticable (Unless Your 5" From The Screen Watching A Black Box Bouncing Across A White Screen) Because Ive Encountered Several 12, 16 And 20ms Monitors That Have Worse Issues With Reaction Times, But The Color Quality Of These Monitors And The .23mm Dot Pitch Oughtweight The 40ms Responce Time, And This Monitor Can Scale A 800x600 4:8 Image To Fit The Wide-Screen Aspect Almost Perfectly.

Note: There Are Only Two LCD Monitors On The Market That Have A Dot Pitch Thats Tighter Than .255mm This One, And The 22" IBM And Its A 35ms S-IPS Type Panel (That Reacts Like A 50ms TN+Film) And Costs Around $2,000 Used.

try lowering the hypertransport multiplier, and also the RAM divider.

Thanx For The Advice Ill Start With The Memory Devider First (Then If Needed The Hypertansport) Will Be Trying For 2.7GHz Or Possibly 2.8GHz Tomorrow After Work, Good Night

P.S. CPU Is Idling At 98 - 102F And Runs About 125 -135F Under A Full Load After About 2HRS Of Call Of Duty 2 Or Serious SAM @ 1600x1024 4xAA/16xAF Maximum Detail

If There Are Any Other Tips/Tricks Please Be Sure To Let Me Know

I thought he meant that he got so excited with the new OC that he puked all over his keyboard.

Well, I Did It, 2.7GHz. RAM Is @ 460MHz CAS 2.5-4-4-7, Temps Are The Same. Testing: Now For A 4Hr Run Of 3DMark 06 And About 4Hrs Of CODII And Some Serious SAM.
