Active camera and FS 9.0

I've been trying AC (active camera) today with poor results so far.

I am currently using the 9.0 (Original) version of FS. I was using the NOCD
patch, but reverted to the other version and using the CD as it seams to be
an issue with Active camera. My issues are:

1. I install the AC demo and fire up the sim. It tells me it will disable
itself because I'm not at Seattle which is required for demo mode and my
default is Manchester. If I then change to Seattle it doesn't work.

2. I create a flight and load straight into Seattle from the desktop.
Everything hangs.

I have tried this many times after numerous re-boots but to no avail.

I even toyed with doing the 9.1 upgrade but can't see the point. Is 9.1
worth the hassle and if yes what are the things to consider. I know the new
features/fixes but I don't need them I don't think.

Has anyone got any suggestions to get AC working as I'm not buying it if I
can't get the demo working.

Yeah, that sounds "cocked up"

Try a reinstall... If that doesn't work, head on over to the ActiveCamera
forum:

There is no great leap forward in 9.1. But, on the other hand everyone
seems to have little trouble installing the upgrade. It's just: 1) Run the
upgrade 2) Find the 9.1 patch and install 3) Get the latest version of
FSUIPC

No big deal.

There are currently FOUR "flavors" of Active Camera available:

AC2.0 for FS9.0
AC2.0 for FS9.1
AC2.1 for FS9.0
AC2.1 for FS9.1

I suspect that you tried to use the wrong version for your FS
configuration...

Also, just to be complete... there has been a 9.1 no-CD fs9.exe around for
months...

I tried version 2.1 for fs 9.0 and made sure that I was running from CD 4
not the nocd patch.
