Curious, if I was to get a mobo today, which one should it be?

Next, if I was to wait for a short period of time for an up-comming mobo, which one and why?

If I had to suggest any one board, today, I'd say to buy one to match the cpu you have or plan to purchase. That would be the most important factor. If this is more than a rhetorical question, then perhaps you can give more detailed criteria to help choose.
