I have a problem getting ActiveSync to work to my desktop when connecting
from outside via VPN wireless. The VPN is working as I can use Terminal
Services and connect to my desktop machine. The wireless sync works fine if
I am inside the business network (no VPN).

ActiveSync fails after a while indicating something like "critical
communications failed to start - reset your device and try again".

We have tried reinstalled on my Axim x3i as well as the desktop. I get the
exact same results with AS 3.7.1 and AS 3.7.

Here is the wcesmgr.log lines that are created when this happens:

**** ActiveSync (3.7.3083 RETAIL) started, Cmd line: '/onconnect'
2004-11-16 22:05:48 00000EE0 - ActiveSync second instance started, Cmd line:

Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions.
