Hi, I received this in January (2006). I used it for school and for job-related purposes. It has never been dropped. It was always transported in a backpack specifically designed to protect the notebook securely and comfortably. It works flawlessly; boots up every time.

Also, as you can can read up above, I extended the warranty an additional two years ($159.99 value)...which now expires Dec. 1, 2008.
I was able to run Photoshop CS2, Adobe Acrobat Professional 7, Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike: Source, Civilization IV, World of Warcraft, and many other games/applications flawlessly.
The laptop comes with all original documentation, peripherals, original box, and even a backup Windows XP SP2 disc. I will hand clean it before packing it up and shipping it out.
Thanks for looking.
You can post here if you're interested or PM me.
If I don't get enough feedback from this and other forums, I'll be putting it on eBay with a Buy It Now of $1,200 and most likely a reserve of $1,000.
Brand new outter casing (plastics) just arrived the other day. ($200+ value)
This laptop is in *like new* condition. If anything even so much as hiccups, call Gateway they'll pay for, fix, and/or replace everything.
I've had an excellent overall experience with their support program.
