Leadtek GX-085-LT, 20 pipes ?

From (updated again to a google cached page) Overclockers UK 3rd item down the list :

This card features the latest G71 7900 GS core which has 20 pipelines enabled out of the box with super-fast 1.4ns memory adding extra levels of performance!

Update :
Overclockers UK changed their description of the GX-085-LT, 5th item down This List back to 16 pipes !

I know I should have waited for more information before buying it but it's already in the mail...

What do you think, is that for real ?

Probably, it is still labled as a 7800GS though haven't heard of the 7900gs gore before though.
Just out of interest why didn't you go for either of the gainwards I have the 7800GT version and it kicks ass. It is interesting though I wonder how that card compares?

Gainward released a 20 and 24 piped version of the 7800GS for AGP. Basically they were 7800GT and 7900GT for AGP.

Yeah, I know about the Gainwards (first two items on the list I linked to) but they were out of my budget, while you can't overlook the factory overclock, better cooling and 512MB RAM, I had to settle for the cheaper solution which was competitively priced versus the 16 pipes 7800GS available in the US of A and Canadakistan.

Does anyone know if Overclockers UK will ship to the USA?
If not, is there anywhere else to get the Leadtek/Gainward 7800gs cards into the US?

How much did you pay for that Leadtek, and in what currency?

I think they do ship to USA, they have to option on their site when selecting the shipping address. Not sure how much they charge though or how long it will take. I use the site quite a lot as I live in a tiny weeny little island near england. It says on the website £176.95 here you will probably have to pay £20 for shipping if not more though .

They do ship to Canadakistan (396.073 CAD or 353.300 USD) so chances are that they would ship to the U. S. of A for a similar fee.

I do not know if/how much I'll get charged for the custom taxes, I have yet to recieve a reply from Leadtek and Overclockers UK about the number of pipes and the type of GPU found on that card.

In a worst case scenario, I'll let you know once I recieve it next week.

Seems like either Overclockers UK found a way to mod those cards or they got their hands on a very special batch of cards without Leadtek knowing.

Despite the confirmation I recieved from Overclockers UK, it would appear that there is no such thing as a 20 pipe GX-085-LT, the description they had was not only innacurate, it was misleading lie !

Someone at Overclockers UK should be hanged by the balls for making false claims IMHO !

Overclockers UK have yet to respond to the e-mails I sent them, good thing is that I'm not alone, many other forums have their GX-085-LT/Leadtek 7900GS threads such as AnandTech and Hardware Zone, there are a lot of angry buyers venting off left and right.

They did a real big mistake and I intend to give them the kind of bad press they deserve !
