Windows XP Home

I bought my HP LaserJet 4L printer in 1994 and it has worked great ever
since. I print maybe 10 pages a month so I'm not surprised it has held up
well.

Lately, I've been having problems printing envelopes. When in Word, I go to
Tools > Letters and Mailings > Envelopes and Labels, and after entering the
mailing address, I attempt to print the envelope. What comes out is a bunch
of gibberish printed sideways from the upper right to the bottom right part
of the envelope. Interestingly, if I re-insert the envelope and repeat the
process, it prints out fine. Unfortunately, at that point, the envelope is
no longer suitable for mailing.

FYI - All other printing efforts work fine. Any input on what this envelope
printing problem might be is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
