Hi Good People,

I have just received the Aerosoft Seahawk and Boxer. The addon is great,
but it does sure hit the frame rate! And I saw on this NG a capture of the
latest PMDG 747, and it was clear that the frame rates were down also.

What is the cheapest way of getting better frame rates? I have

Intel 2.8
1 G dual channel RAM
800FSB
nVidia 6800 Ultra.

Faster processor is the way to go. We did some testing with videocards
etc, and as soon as you have a high end card (6800 and higher), the FPS
stays the same. (I'm running 2 7800GTX in SLI. The image quality is
higher AF, AA, supersampling, etc), but you get the same FPS, meaning
that the processor is the 'weak' spot. Running with an AMD 4000+ btw).

I noticed the same issue with the PMDG 737NG. Great detail but jerky on my
system.
