Well.. my situation is a bit complicated i guess. I currently have a 6600gt(evga pci-e)with an awesome zalman fan on it. However, i want to upgrade to a 7600gt(evga pci-e) and use my zalman fan on the 7600gt. Will the 7600gt stock fan fit on the 6600gt?

The reason for this switch is because.... my brother accidently threw away my 6600gt stock cooling.. therefore im asking if the 7600gt stock cooling can be placed on the 6600gt. Because i'd like to sell my 6600gt with working cooling to my friend. And i dont want to spend extra money on something im trying to sell.

I just need a simple yes or no answer. Thank you guys!

Well, check first if your Zalman cooler will fit the new card....

If it does, then it roughly equates to an HSF that will fit both cards, so chances are good that the 7xxx card's cooler will fit the 6600 - that's if both of them are memory-less cooler types.

What model is the Zalman HS/F? I'm sure that you can check on their website.

It depends on the card, some have holes that line up, others don't.
