This happens often. At first, the joystick and throttle are very
responsive, then for no reason there seems to be a few second delay from
when I move the stick to when the movement actually happens. Strange stuff.
Anyone know what to do or what is wrong?

Can you tell if the whole sim is pausing too?

Try this test, while on the ground, switch to overhead view with Ctrl+S and
zoom out. Engage slew (y key) and use your joystick to move around. Does
it get the delays that way too?
