DDR2 Choices

What do you guys think would perform better?

A) 4 x 512MB of 533MHz DDR2 4-4-4-12

b) 2 x 1024MB of 800MHz DDR2 5-5-5-15

I have the physical space and the FSB to handle either, and it's almost identical cost.

I have the physical space and the FSB to handle either, and it's almost identical cost.

I think the 800 will be faster, or at the very least,no slower than the 533. I would get the 800, as you get 2GB without having to fill all the DIMM slots. GL

the 800 is faster if your mb suports that kind of speed.

most prefer the tight timings tho
